MathCreator story...
The major updated MathCreator is here.
This game has come some way. Initially this was the project produced under a Coursera Course from MSU on Game Development. It was the final capstone. I then rewrote the game into a mobile platform. I published it on the Google Play store, for free, and developed it further there. This forced me to exclude to large first person aspect and focus on the mathematics. I updated the math question scenes significantly with better visuals and interactions. There exists methods to increase your points by getting consecutive correct answers, changing the difficulty, increasing your speed and reaching higher levels.
I added a guide to the main menu to assist with people who have not played the game and I also added a Stats function. This would register the player's name in a new PlayerPreferences Script as well as some basic performance parameters like: Number of times you have attempted a game and the last game's results that you have played, as well as when.
The bigger issue came when I saw some people wanted to play the game but they do not have Android devices or Google play store. OR they do not have space on their phones to download the game. A decision was then taken to rewrite the game back into a WebGL mode and republish the game here. It still has mobile functionality :-)
SO, let us see how this update fares on different platforms.
